Shipping & Service Policy
This policy explains compatibility approval, module-shipping expectations, intake practices, and return-service handling.
Compatibility Approval Before Shipping
Do not ship a module until DG Autohaus has reviewed the vehicle information, module identification, service request, and compatibility.
Packaging and Inbound Shipment
- Use anti-static protection and secure padded packaging.
- Include shipment tracking and adequate shipping insurance.
- Customer is responsible for inbound shipping arrangements and costs.
- DG Autohaus is not responsible for carrier loss or damage outside its control.
Incoming Condition and Evaluation
Incoming module condition may be documented at intake. Evaluation timing varies based on module type, condition, required testing, available technical information, and current workload.
Scope Changes and Additional Approval
If inspection shows that requested service scope must change, additional customer approval may be required before work continues.
Return Shipping
Return shipping includes tracking. Shipping method and coverage options are communicated as part of the service workflow.
Unclaimed Modules
If completed work cannot be returned because customer communication, payment, or shipping arrangements remain unresolved for an extended period, DG Autohaus may follow a reasonable abandoned-property process consistent with applicable requirements.
Technical Limits
- Modules may require vehicle-side programming, coding, synchronization, adaptation, or diagnosis after return.
- Damaged hardware, corrupted data, or communication failure may limit or prevent recovery.
- No guarantee is made that all data or hardware is recoverable.
Service availability and compatibility depend on the exact vehicle, module, hardware, software, condition, and authorized repair request.
