Terms of Service

These terms describe how DG Autohaus reviews, accepts, performs, and documents automotive electronic module services.

Customer Authorization and Information Accuracy

By requesting service, the customer confirms they are authorized to request work for the vehicle and module provided, and that submitted information is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

Proof of Ownership and Security-Sensitive Services

Proof of ownership and customer identification may be required for key, immobilizer, all-keys-lost, VIN-related, and other security-sensitive services. DG Autohaus may refuse service if authorization, module origin, or intended use cannot be reasonably verified.

Compatibility Review and Service Scope

Service begins with compatibility review. Quoted services, timing, and procedures may change when module inspection identifies additional issues, unsupported combinations, or condition-related constraints.

Customer-Supplied Replacement Modules

Customer-supplied replacement modules are evaluated for compatibility and condition, but acceptance of a module for inspection does not guarantee successful cloning, programming, synchronization, recovery, or installation outcome.

Diagnostic and Evaluation Limitations

Bench diagnostics and technical evaluation are performed using available equipment, communication access, and module condition at the time of inspection. Previously opened, modified, damaged, corroded, water-damaged, or electrically compromised modules may have limited or no recoverable service path.

No Guarantee of Recoverability

Not every module is recoverable. Technical outcomes depend on hardware integrity, software state, data condition, and communication access.

Vehicle-Side Completion Requirements

Vehicle-side programming, coding, synchronization, adaptation, calibration, or additional diagnosis may still be required after module return.

Payment and Return Shipping

Customer is responsible for approved service charges and required return-shipping costs. Return shipment method and insurance options are communicated during the service process.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DG Autohaus is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from service requests, module condition, prior modifications, installation errors, or unrelated vehicle faults.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of service request review will apply.

Service availability and compatibility depend on the exact vehicle, module, hardware, software, condition, and authorized repair request.
